Wondering in what context he was talking about JD? Do you worry about him googling? Pretty grim stuff for a child to read about in detail - maybe mine are just sensitive flowers but pretty sure they'd be disturbed. I was certainly creeped out watching the tapes doc on Netflix.

Brit in America here - first off Warby Parker does great glasses at great prices and a def place to visit if you come stateside. I must say I’m a bit cringe about these… I keep seeing them on the old IG which immediately makes me think no because once the gorgeous 20 something influencer is flogging them I’m out! Also I am still grossed out by anything to do with Dahmer all these years later. Although ‘contempt prior to investigation’ as they say so maybe I will try some on next time I’m near a WP? Also I’m very excited to be coming to London (born and raised until I was 30) at the end of the month which is completely off topic but I feel I must announce it!

1. Sam for PM. 2. I am exactly the same about social media. AVOID. I have no idea why anyone would EVER want to go on Twitter ever. 3. YES!!!! 'Model's own' - HOW many times has that enraged me? 4. I now want these specs. But Spikers beware please thin rims... I got a fabulous pair of shades in this type of frame and the bloody frames pop out ever second. Plus, I wore them once at a wedding and looked like a UDA bridesmaid. (Translation: an Ulster terrorist).

yes this sort of spec very popular with many players in N Ireland conflict. I feel like Gerry Adams had a similar pair

*bloody glass pops out not the frames. That's what I meant. Sigh, menopausal brain. Oh though I must report since you turned me on to Ancient and Brave collagen - I have had 5 separate people compliment my skin. Rosacea has gone and skin looks much better.

Pair no. 3 would make me look EXACTLY like my mother from c.1975-1990. In fact they are probably still in a drawer somewhere (my mother died over a decade ago …). Mind you, looking like my mother might be an improvement on my existing specs which I thought were great, nice tortoiseshell, comfy on the ears, good proportions - until I realised I look EXACTLY like this in them: 🤓. Ok, I exaggerate. I’m less yellow.

My husband has a pair of cheapos for reading in bed and he looks like Michael Gove in his. Not a groovy household, ours.

Totally agreeI have two slightly different pairs now. I saw the first pair on a trendy girl running a children’s holiday club and promptly bought some similar on my return. They were Oliver peoples…I felt amazing in them and then my cousin said wow Kojak glasses. Only you can pull those off ! this didn’t faze me. This was 2019 and a lot of my friends thought I looked very maths teacher too. Cut to this summer… I bought an even bigger pair of gucci silver ones and I love them apart from one morning filling the kettle and my reflection looked like Albert finney in Erin brockovich. So as long as I don’t look in the kettle wearing them I feel great. I try to think Lynda carter Wonder Woman rather than Dahmer serial killer….although Dennis Nielsen had a similar pair too I think 🤔

the 70s/80s pre-CCTV world clearly allowed serial killers to go undetected...
