This chocolate cake is absolutely the last word in pudding cakes. By that I mean the sort of thing you serve after dinner in a dainty slice with a blob of creme fraiche on the side - perhaps with a few berries, if they are in season, for decoration. You will be horrified at the amount of sugar in this, but the result is fudgey and perfect. And don’t forget, you’re only having a dainty slice.
