Jonathan Van Ness is the very extra presenter on Queer Eye - he is also (I think) a gifted stylist and when I see him at work on the show on someone’s hair, being so very deft and expert, I feel something approaching a crush.
He has now brought out a range of hair styling products, the flagship of which is the Air Dry Cream. Being lazy and also keen not to mess my increasingly fragile hair about with a lot of heat and yanking, I am really into air drying - which only means leaving your hair to dry naturally using a suitable product. The downside of this is that it can end up, due to hard London water and shampoo, being a bit of a frizzy mess.
In Van Ness’s promotional videos, this Air Dry cream turns his hair into silky curls. I love Jonathan Van Ness and so I bought the cream hoping that it would do the same to my hair. This is what happened.
